Fibroids - Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy

Symptoms

A 47 year old woman presented with torrential menorrhagia.

Diagnosis

Examination revealed a prolapsing cervical fibroid. This was confirmed at Pelvic Ultrasound.

Outcome

She subsequently underwent Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy and made an excellent recovery.

A Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy has been performed. The vault has been sutured. Two normal ovaries are seen on either side of the vault.
