Florid Adenomyosis - Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy

Symptoms

A 51 year old woman presented with severe dysmenorrhoea and menorrhagia.

Procedure

She requested a hysterectomy – and subsequently underwent a Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy with removal of both tubes and ovaries.

Outcome

The pathology specimen revealed florid adenomyosis.
