Heavy Bleeding - Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy

Symptoms

A 42 year old woman presented with torrential menorrhagia (extremely heavy bleeding). She was seeking a second opinion.

Diagnosis

She had previously had an Endometrial Ablation. Another gynaecologist had recommended an Open Hysterectomy.

Procedure

She subsequently had a Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy.

Outcome

She made an excellent recovery and was very satisfied with the result.
