Supporting Every Journey to Parenthood
Starting a family can take many different forms, and every journey is unique. Whether you are a single woman considering motherhood, a same-sex couple exploring options like reciprocal IVF, or someone looking into donor sperm or donor eggs, there are supportive and safe pathways available. My role is to listen to your story, understand your hopes, and guide you through the choices with compassion and expertise, so together we can find the path that feels right for you.
Your Pathway to Parenthood
Different options to help you create the family you imagine.

Donor Sperm
We have a local sperm bank and also access to four overseas banks:
- Cascade Sperm Bank
- Ovogene Sperm Bank
- Seattle Sperm Bank
- California Cryobank
All donors are de-identified and meet NSW legal requirements. You will receive information about basic characteristics such as education, height, eye colour, and hair colour. Some donors also provide baby photos.
To support you through this process, you will have counselling to understand the NSW Reproductive Act, and our experienced team will guide you every step of the way. We will also arrange Genetic Carrier Screening (GCS) — a saliva test which screens for 400 of the most common genetic mutations. This ensures the best possible match between you and your chosen donor.
Once the donor sperm is selected, we will discuss treatment options together, such as intra-uterine insemination (IUI) or IVF. You will be fully informed and supported in making the right decision for your circumstances.
Donor Eggs
We have access to a wide range of donor egg options :
- Local Monash IVF egg bank
- Overseas egg banks including Manor Baby, CentraLIVF, and The World Egg Bank
Our dedicated donor team will guide you through selecting the right donor. Donors are generally in their 20s, and once selected, the eggs are transported to our Monash IVF Unit. You will be kept informed at every step.
Together we will create a personalised treatment plan. The process involves:
- Thawing and fertilising the eggs
- Growing the embryos for 5–7 days
- Transferring an embryo into your uterus at the right time in your cycle — either a natural cycle (no hormones) or a hormone-supported cycle
