Menopausal Symptoms - Hysterectomy

Symptoms

A 51 year old woman presented with persistent irregular bleeding. She was taking HRT and experienced significant menopausal symptoms when she tried to discontinue HRT.

Diagnosis

She requested a hysterectomy.

Procedure

She subsequently underwent Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy and removal of both Tubes and Ovaries.
