Uterine Fibroids - Laparascopic Myomectomy

Symptoms

A 33 year old woman presented with right sided pelvic pain and menorrhagia.

Diagnosis

Pelvic Ultrasound revealed a 95mm right sided uterine fibroid.

Procedure

She subsequently underwent Laparoscopic Myomectomy. Operating time was 60 minutes.

Outcome

She made an excellent recovery and her symptoms resolved.
