Spotting - Endometriosis

Symptoms

A 40 year old woman presented with premenstrual spotting and dysmenorrhoea.

Diagnosis

She elected to proceed with a Laparoscopy. This revealed pigmented endometriosis over the left ureter, bladder, posterior cervix and right side wall.

Procedure

All visible endometriosis was excised.

Outcome

The pain and spotting resolved.
