Fibroids - Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy

Symptoms

A 51 year old woman presented with torrential menorrhagia. She was aware of a large pelvic mass.

Diagnosis

She had a large multi-fibroid uterus.

Procedure

She subsequently underwent Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy and removal of both Fallopian Tubes and Ovaries. The uterus weighed 670g.
