Infertility Caused by a FibroidS

SYMPTOMS

A 28 year old woman presented with primary infertility.

DIAGNOSIS

A pelvic ultrasound demonstrated a 27mm fibroid extending into the cavity..

PROCEDURE

A Hysteroscopy and Myomectomy was performed (using Myosure device).

OUTCOME

The woman conceived spontaneously three months later.

The fibroid is seen in the cavity of the uterus

The fibroid is being removed

The normal uterine cavity after the fibroid is removed
