Symptoms
A 45 year old woman presented with torrential menorrhagia.
Diagnosis
She requested a hysterectomy.
Procedure
She subsequently underwent Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy.
Outcome
She made an excellent recovery.
The uterus at the start of the procedure
The left Ovarian Ligament is divided
The right Uterine Artery pedicle is divided.
The left Uterine Artery pedicle is divided.
The uterus and cervix are detached from the vagina and removed.
The vaginal vault has been sutured. The pelvis at the end of the procedure. Two normal ovaries are seen
