Irregular Bleeding Due to Uterine Adhesions

Adhesions in Uterus

Symptoms

A 42 year old woman presented with irregular bleeding. She had a light menstrual cycle.

Diagnosis

She had previously had several miscarriages and had had D&Cs. She had no further plans to have a pregnancy.

Procedure

Hysteroscopy revealed a band at the top of the uterus. This presumably occurred following several D&Cs. This was divided.
